From the beautiful wedding ceremony with backdrop the Mediterranean, the pastel colour palette, the intimate meal at the luxurious Matsuhisa, to the elegant wedding dress created by Saiid Kobeisy, Noura and George’s special wedding day could not be more romantic!
A Micro Wedding
Combining elegance, contemporary aesthetics and the individuality of the couple, Splendid Events, which was responsible for the organization and decoration, proves that a close-circle wedding can be magical and timeless. As the 2020 wedding trend is weddings with a limited guest list, Noura and George’s wedding is proof that couples who have redefined their original plans due to Covid can still make their wedding day special, while creating an extremely intimate and personalized experience for their guests!
The Beautiful Ceremony
Noura and George came to Cyprus for their wedding, from Lebanon, after many attempts due to the limitations of the pandemic. They chose the luxurious, beachfront hotel Amara in Limassol, and were surrounded by their family and closest friends.
The bride, with natural makeup and a simple hairstyle, shone in the elegant wedding dress of Lebanese designer Saiid Kobeisy, with off the shoulder sleeves and a belt decorated with pearls. George in a linen, beige suit waited for Noura, holding the rich bouquet in the pastel colours.
The beautiful ceremony, full of moments of laughter, emotion, and love, ended with the couple’s first dance, against the backdrop of the sky and the deep blue of the sea.

The Wedding Dinner
Hosting a small number of wedding guests has a lot to do with finding the ideal space, which should be comfortable but not seem empty. Thus, Noura and George’s wedding dinner was organized at Matsuhisa, a luxurious restaurant within Amara, where hundreds of roses with varying shades of pink, eryngium, orchids and garden roses, David Austin roses, and crystal candlesticks created a magical and romantic candle-lit atmosphere.
The wedding dinner was completed with the best impressions due to the culinary delights prepared by the chefs of the well-known restaurant.
Pastel Colours
“Pastel colours exude romance and elegance, and adapt easily to changes in decorating trends, which is why they remain a popular choice for wedding decoration,” says Melanie of Splendid Events. To achieve a modern, finesse pastel colour palette for your wedding, avoid using colours that suit together and do not use multiple colours at once. Choose two or three main pastel colours and combine them with a few neutrals to achieve a matching, distinctive and contemporary result.”
