With colours, scents and the mystical atmosphere of Morocco, Aristos and Gina tied the knot at St. Nicholas chapel in Maroni, on May 27, 2018, making their guests feel as if they were participating in a movie scene, taken out of “Casablanca.”

They had already been together for more than four years before they got married and during that time the couple had their first child. The wedding proposal came shortly after Gina realised she was pregnant, when the couple was on holiday in Mykonos dining at Ling Ling restaurant. A sweet gilded chocolate tag, which had «Will you marry me?” written on it and Aristos kneeling on one knee in front of her offering her an engagement ring was all it took to make Gina burst into tears of joy and say the big yes. The wedding preparations started immediately! According to Gina, she found lots of ideas and inspiration for their wedding day in our magazine Gamos & Nyfiko!

Aristos waited for the love of his life at the entrance of the picturesque church of St. Nicholas with its breathtaking views, while holding two impressive bouquets, made up of red peonies, chrysanthemums, eucalyptus, spray roses, hydrangeas and some orchids. The first smaller-sized bouquet was given to their daughter and the second for his beloved Gina. The simple but impressive decoration of the church, a garland on the stoned-made entrance of the church and two extremely richly decorated marble-made floral columns on the right and left side of the couple exuded the ethnic chic wedding theme.

Glowing with happiness, Gina impressed the wedding guests with her wedding dress, a Pnina Tornai creation from Gala Montenapoleone bridal house. Red details were also present as the bride chose to wear a pair of gorgeous red Calvin Klein sandals that impressed everyone! Her airy bridal hairstyle and simple makeup were further highlighted by the long tulle veil she wore. Aristos chose an all-time-classic black Ermenegildo Zegna suit from Amicci Boutique and a black bow tie. The detail that made all the difference was the cufflinks engraved with the initials of his name.

Instead of an impressive reception hall, Gina and Aristos chose to celebrate their wedding with their loved ones at their summer home in Maroni. The RSVP events professional team, which undertook all the wedding decoration, set up a unique setting that made everyone think they were transported to one of the magical gardens of Marrakech.

The prevailing colours were shades of red, green and bronze, which combined with the spectacular lighting, brought out every little details and created a magical setting. As the couple said, life is made up of all the colours put together!
The warm coloured flower compositions consisted of peonies, chrysanthemums, eucalyptus, spray roses, apericum, orchids, asclepias, hydrangeas, santinin and celosia. Arabic lanterns with elaborate carvings were hung in the trees of the garden, put on the guests’ tables, over the wooden food station and around the pool. The rich buffet by Pandora Catering impressed every guest!

The newlyweds rectangular wedding table was decorated with an impressive natural garland with different flower compositions used in the wedding decoration, vases with red peonies, small oil lamps that added warm lighting and candle holders in various sizes either in shades of gold or natural glass. The plates and glasses that were used made all the difference. They were made of natural transparent glass with bronze edges. The guest tables were decorated with low flower arrangements in bronze pots and different kinds of low carved candlesticks that created a magical ambiance. Instead of wedding favors the couple chose to make a donation to the Special School of Agios Spyridon Larnaca.

After their impressive entrance with fireworks that illuminated the sky, the couple cut their three-levelled cake made up of a bold composition of red peonies and golden edgings, with their beautiful little girl who was completely integrated into the wedding theme as she was wearing a floral dress and red shoes!
The innovative black and white dance floor was filled with dancing guests by the band 48 Hours and the two Djs, which thrilled the guests. All this of course will be forever engraved in the memory of the newlyweds and all of their loved ones, thanks the Studio Karamanos team that captured each and every moment of Aristos and Gina’s big day!
