Kleanthis’ and Stavri’s distinctive wedding occurred in the magical environment of Aphrodite Hills Resort. With cutting-edge country chic details, and happiness painted on their faces, the decision to share their lives was sealed in the most beautiful way.
Surrounded by their loved ones, Kleanthis and Stavri joined their lives on October 7th, 2017 in the holy temple of St Aikaterini at Aphrodite Hills Resort. The location was not a random choice, as the bride confided to us that the resort is one of the couple’s favourite destinations.
Two beautiful marble flower stands with eucalyptus dominating, along with roses in pale pink shades, and succulents, they formed the decorative identity of the wedding, placed at the entrance of the small church.
After a relaxing morning in the resort’s mansions, the couple followed the Cyprus tradition of preparing for the wedding with lutes and violins, and then each one walked to the stone-built chapel accompanied by their loved ones.
The bride was modestly dressed without too much jewellery, with her tattoos visible to adorn her hands. She chose a unique wedding dress with a romantic polka dot lace, impressive bust, and a rich skirt, a creation by Stalo Theodorou from Complice. The bridal appearance was completed by a knit ponytail, creation by the hair salon Art U Hair House, and an airy low-hanging shroud. Dora Katseli was in charge of the makeup, which was characterised by its earthly tones. Kleanthis picked a Kouross sand-coloured suit full of finesse, with a bowtie in the same colour.
Two beautiful marble flower stands with eucalyptus dominating, along with roses in pale pink shades, and succulents, they formed the decorative identity of the wedding, placed at the entrance of the small church. The same composition was found on the bride’s bouquets, while the boutonnieres were made solely from succulents and string. Novelty country chic details, like a wooden cart, candle-filled bowls, flower compositions, as well as writings on a blackboard, created a very special atmosphere.
Inside the imposing Morpheas Ballroom, where the dinner took place, the wooden monastery-style of the newlyweds was particularly impressive, as were the candle centrepieces with glass and bronze bases, the marvellous plant compositions of eucalyptus and succulents in panniers, and even the wooden crates that really popped with the natural candle lighting. The four-level wedding cake by New York Sweets, was also very striking, decorated with an exuberant flower composition that really tied the wedding’s theme together.
