Avoid over-volume skirts, if you do not want to look like you are drowning in the fabric! A wedding dress you should keep away from is one that stops just above the calf as it would give the impression your legs are even shorter than they are.
PLUS SIZE
What to look for: An empire dress, where the skirt starts just beneath the bust and reaches the floor in A-line is what you need. Make sure, however, that the empire does not start from the chest and that the fabric does not have pleats because it reminds us of pregnancy dresses. Moreover, the dress should follow your body. If it is too loose then it will add pounds. Avoid draperies and prefer dresses that have structure.
