– Decide whether or not you will hire a wedding planner.

10-12 MONTHS BEFORE
– Starting thinking about your guestlist.
– Choose the florist or decoration vendor that will be in charge of the decoration.
– Decide on your wedding theme.
– Research wedding invitations types and designs.
– Look for a honeymoon destination.
– Choose the music for reception and the wedding dinner.

9 MONTHS BEFORE
– Order/reserve your wedding dress.
– Choose the flower girls’ dresses.
– Book a hair salon, make-up artist and beautician.
– Start looking for the groom’s suit.
– Choose your wedding heels and accessories.
– Pick and order the cake and treats.

6 MONTHS BEFORE
– Order the invitations.
– Decide how you will arrive at the church.
– Secure the required certificates and all other paperwork needed for your wedding.
– Pick your wedding rings.
– Book everything you need for your honeymoon.

4 MONTHS BEFORE
– Decide the groom’s suit and accessories.
– Finalise your guestlist.
– Settle on all aspects of the decoration.
– Pick and order the wedding favours.
– Start the hairstyling and make-up rehearsals.

2-3 MONTHS BEFORE
– Buy your wedding lingerie, night gown, etc.
– Hand out the invitations.

A MONTH BEFORE
